Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of VisaPathFinder at visapathfinder.com. By generating a report you agree to them.
1. What VisaPathFinder is
VisaPathFinder is a software tool that scores your profile against the eligibility criteria of 43 immigration visas across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. You answer a short intake, optionally upload a CV, and we produce a ranked report.
The report includes a fit score per visa, the criteria you meet, the gaps you need to close, an action-led next step, an estimated timeline, an estimated cost band, and a downloadable PDF.
2. What VisaPathFinder is not
We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not file petitions with USCIS, UKVI, IRCC, the Department of Home Affairs, or any other immigration authority. We do not represent you before any government body.
The report is an educational tool. For any actual application, consult a licensed immigration attorney or registered migration agent in the destination country.
3. Pricing
A pathfinder report is a one-time purchase of $19.99 USD at the time of writing. We may change the price for future purchases; the price displayed on the paywall when you click "Unlock" is the price you pay.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.
4. Access and delivery
The report is delivered to a URL on visapathfinder.com that includes a one-time unlock token. This bookmark URL is your only access to the report. We do not currently send report copies by email.
You are responsible for saving the bookmark URL. We do not guarantee we can recover access if you lose it.
We will retain a paid report indefinitely unless you request deletion (see Section 6).
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide honest answers to the intake questions and upload a CV that represents your actual background. The accuracy of the report is bounded by the accuracy of the input.
- Do not submit fraudulent, misrepresented, or third-party information.
- Do not use the report as a substitute for legal advice or representation.
- Do not resell, republish, or redistribute the report.
- Do not abuse the service (excessive automated requests, attempts to bypass payment, etc.). We rate-limit per IP and will block abusive sources.
6. Privacy and data
- We store the answers you provide to the intake plus any CV text you upload, the resulting ranked report, and the email Stripe sends us when you pay. We do not sell this data, and we do not share it with immigration authorities.
- IPs are stored as one-way hashes (SHA-256) for rate limiting. We do not store raw IP addresses.
- You can delete a report and every record tied to it at any time, with no questions asked, at the deletion URL printed at the bottom of your results page (
/pathfinder/[id]/delete?token=...). Deletion is final and immediate. - Stripe stores payment records on its own systems, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
- See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
7. Refunds
VisaPathFinder is a digital one-shot purchase that we cannot un-deliver. All sales are generally final.
If something genuinely went wrong (an empty report, a duplicate charge, a clear engine failure), email us within 14 days at support@visapathfinder.com and we will review case by case. Refunds outside of that window or for buyer's-remorse reasons are at our discretion.
8. Accuracy and disclaimers
- The fit scores in the report are model estimates against published eligibility criteria. They are not predictions of approval.
- A "high" fit score does not guarantee a visa will be granted. A "low" fit score does not mean you should not apply. The decision rests with the immigration authority of the destination country.
- Immigration policy changes frequently. The report reflects criteria as of the date of generation; subsequent rule changes are not retroactively applied.
- We use Anthropic's Claude language model to generate the narrative portions of the report. The model can make mistakes, including factual errors. Treat the report as a starting point, not a final answer.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- VisaPathFinder is provided as is and as available.
- We are not liable for visa denials, refusals, requests for evidence, processing delays, lost opportunities, or any decision you make based on the report.
- Our total liability to you, for any claim arising from your use of VisaPathFinder, is capped at the amount you actually paid for the report (typically $19.99).
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
You agree these limits are reasonable given the price of the service.
10. Intellectual property
- We own the platform, the scoring engine, the country modules, the prompt design, and the report layout.
- You own your CV and the answers you provide.
- The generated report is licensed to you for personal, non-redistributable use.
- You may share excerpts of your own report with an immigration attorney or trusted advisor.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. If a change is material, we will surface a notice on visapathfinder.com. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants you non-waivable consumer rights, nothing in these terms removes those rights.
